Quand je dois faire des choix, petits ou grands, je les catégorise schématiquement dans ma petite tête de la manière suivante :
- Sur un continuum éthique/pas(t)éthique (ou bien/mal, moral/immoral, etc.)
- Sur un continuum chiant/commode (ou difficile/facile, désagréable/agréable, douloureux/indolore, coûteux/pas coûteux, etc. En anglais, je dirais convenient/inconvenient).
On peut bien sûr avoir des avis différents sur ce qui est bien ou mal ou entre les deux, et trouver certains choix plus ou moins contraignants, douloureux, coûteux, etc.
Et avant qu’on ne m’allume, je parle bien de situations où on a le choix, de la marge de manœuvre, ce qui est souvent un privilège (de classe, de genre, d’origine, etc.).
Or donc je me représente les choix de la façon suivante :
