Marcus

Marcus's music was generated by interpreting the following strings as packs of cards and simulating with the following “Beggar my Neighbour” games:

ILOVERELIFE y2112y 002200 ILOVERELIFE y2112y 0000220000

The only way to rectify our reasonings is to make them as tangible as those of the Mathematicians, so that we can find our error at a glance, and when there are disputes among persons, we can simply say: Calculemus, without further ado, to see who is right

(The serious quote is from G. W. von Leibniz)

Marcus's video was produced via the latest version of Feedpovray by running the following command:

feedpovray —input=000033555555 —y=4 —z=8 —max-size=3 —output=000033555555.pov \ —prologue=prologue.001122222222.b \ —pigment=“pigment{ gradient <0,1,0> sinewave colormap{ [ 0.0 color rgb<1,1,1> ] [ 1.0 color rgb<1,0,0> ] } scale 0.35 }”

In this latest version of Feedpovray, the quantum object is either a sphere or a cube whose unit is a random number between 1 and 3 (cf. option max-size).

The resulting Povray script, 000033555555, was edited as follows:

camera { sky <0,0,1> direction <-1,0,0>
right <-4/3,0,0> location <1000+clock*23090, 1000+clock*23090, 1000+clock*23090> look_at <0,0,0> angle 2 }

plane { <0,0,1>, 0 texture { TChrome3A } }
